Dear Parents/Students,
Revision of Fees
May this message find you and your family in the best of health and iman, Ameen. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your continued trust and unwavering support for our programme.
As you are aware, the cost of living in Singapore continues to rise annually. This increase affects various aspects of our operations, including the rental of HDB units where most Andalus centres are located, utility bills, renovation costs, and our ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of education we provide. Additionally, we remain committed to ensuring that the salary scale of our asatizahs and support staff competitive or closely aligned with prevailing market standards.
These rising operational expenses have significantly impacted our overall running costs. To sustain the quality and continuity of our programmes, it has become necessary for us to revise our fee structure. Therefore, with much consideration, the management has decided to increase the monthly fee for the following programmes effective July 2025 (to be deducted via GIRO in June 2025).
Fees revisions are as follows:
• Islam in English (IIE Primary): From $56.20 to $59.20
• Islam in English (IIE Secondary): From $66.40 to $69.40
For your information, the last fee review was conducted six years ago. The last fee review took place in July 2019. The recent GST increases in 2023 and 2024 were implemented solely to meet the needs of the government and Andalus did not receive any financial benefits from the GST collection.
Please be assured that Andalus remains committed to managing our operational costs prudently, ensuring that our fees remain affordable while we continue to improve the quality of our services.
We seek your understanding while receiving this letter. Should you require financial assistance due to this adjustment, we encourage you to approach the centre where your child is enrolled. Our team will be ready to discuss and explore possible support options, inshaAllah.
Thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation. May Allah SWT continue to bless our collective efforts and guide us always. Ameen.
Wassalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
Yours Sincerely,
Zulkifli Bin Othman

Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)
Fees Revision

Why are the fees being increased?
Operating costs such as rent, salaries and utilities continue to rise each year. This fee increase is necessary to ensure Andalus, Cordova and Al-Zuhri can continue operating and providing quality services. The last fee increase was six years ago, in 2019.
Why is the fee increase amount so as stated in the circular?
This rate is the minimum required to cover part of the increased costs we are facing. We are very cautious and we strive not to burden parents, adult learners and families supporting their loved ones’ learning.
Why can’t Andalus, Cordova, and Al-Zuhri absorb these costs?
As private institutions, we do not receive government aid and are not allowed to collect donations. Therefore, tuition fees are our sole source of operational funding.
Will the quality of services improve with this increase?
InsyaAllah. We are committed to maintaining and enhancing the quality of education, including teaching staff, learning aids and the learning environment.
Will the fees increase again if GST or CPF is raised?
We will assess the current situation before making any decisions. Our policy is not to raise fees unless absolutely necessary.
Are there financial assistance options for students and families in need?
Yes, we provide limited financial assistance schemes for eligible students. Students or their guardians can apply through their respective branch offices. Applications will be carefully evaluated based on need.
When will this increase take effect?
The fee increase will take effect starting July 2025. The July 2025 fees will be deducted via GIRO on 12 June 2025.
